When you sign up for an InsightPulse account, we require personal information such as your name, email address, and billing information (handled securely by Stripe). You may also provide us with data relating to your specific market research queries.
Information we get from your use
We collect information about the services that you use and how you use them, like when you visit different features on our dashboard. This includes device information, log information (IP addresses, browser type), and local storage data.
2. How We Use Information We Collect
We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect InsightPulse and our users.
- To provide you with the core AI-generated market research reports.
- To communicate with you regarding updates, support responses, and administrative messages.
- To analyze usage trends and optimize our application's performance.
- To process your subscription payments securely.
- To prevent fraudulent activity and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. Information We Share
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations, and individuals outside of InsightPulse unless one of the following circumstances applies:
We briefly share necessary payload data with AI providers (like OpenAI/Anthropic) strictly via API for the purpose of generating your report. This data is absolutely NOT used to train their models.
We will share personal info if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
4. Data Security & Retention
We work hard to protect InsightPulse and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold. We use secure socket layer (SSL) technology and industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit.
We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
5. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request that we correct any inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Request that we delete your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten").
